Due to the Iran–America–Israel war, the Strait of Hormuz is closed. Many ships from different countries are stuck there. It’s not just that they’re waiting for the Hormuz route to open so they can cross and move ahead. Some ships have already crossed Hormuz but are still stranded where they are. The reason is that sea traffic across the entire Persian Gulf has come to a halt.
Lallantop’s Abhishek Tripathi spoke to an Indian merchant navy personnel who is stuck on one such ship. He revealed the most important thing: many companies are pressuring their ships to turn off their signals and attempt to cross the Strait of Hormuz.
