A civilian was killed in Abu Dhabi’s Al-Bahya area after missile debris fell on a vehicle, according to the Abu Dhabi media office. The incident occurred amid ongoing missile and drone attacks from Iran targeting Gulf nations, particularly the United Arab Emirates. Ashutosh Mishra, reporting from Dubai, explained that approximately six ballistic missiles were intercepted, and the falling debris struck a residential area. He identified the victim as a Palestinian residing in what is described as a labor camp area. Mishra noted that UAE lacks the comprehensive air defence infrastructure and siren systems seen in other conflict zones, relying primarily on mobile alerts. The debris from intercepted missiles continues to pose risks to residential areas across the Emirates, with both Abu Dhabi and Dubai experiencing ongoing attacks.
