In a major relief for the food and hospitality sector, the Indian government has increased the allocation of commercial LPG cylinders amid the ongoing gas supply crisis. The Centre has approved an additional 20% supply, taking the total commercial LPG allocation up to 50% of the estimated requirement. This move is aimed at supporting restaurants, dhabas, hotels, industrial canteens, and community kitchens that were severely affected by earlier supply cuts.
