Iran has blamed the United States for the attack, calling it a clear war crime. According to Iranian officials, targeting a civilian aircraft involved in humanitarian work is a violation of international law and basic humanitarian principles.
The Iranian Embassy in India and the Civil Aviation Organization have both strongly condemned the incident. They stated that attacking a civilian aircraft carrying medical aid goes against international aviation laws and humanitarian norms.
