In a landmark judgment, a court in Madurai has sentenced nine police officers to death in the shocking 2020 Sattankulam custodial deaths case. The verdict comes nearly six years after the brutal torture and killing of a father-son duo, P. Jayaraj and J. Benicks, inside a police station in Tamil Nadu.
