A 24-year-old man’s death in Katihar, Bihar has sparked outrage, with allegations of custodial killing against the police. Angry locals took to the streets, attacked police personnel, snatched weapons, blocked roads, and vandalized the police station. The viral video shows a man carrying a rifle amid a charged crowd. Police claim the victim, Rakesh Kumar Yadav, attempted suicide in custody after being arrested on robbery charges. However, the family alleges torture led to his death. Following the incident, the SHO and investigating officer have been suspended, and five people have been arrested.
