यूपी के गाजियाबाद में हिंदू युवक सूर्या चौहान की 28 मई (बकरीद) की शाम कुछ पूर्व परिचित मुस्लिम दोस्तों ने चाकुओं से गोदकर हत्या कर दी. सूर्या अपने दोस्तों के साथ क्षेत्र में घूम रहा था, इसी दौरान उसके ऊपर चाकू से हमला किया गया. घायल को नोएडा के फोर्टिस हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उपचार के दौरान उसकी मृत्यु हो गई है. पुलिस ने हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और कुछ लोगों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ कर रही है. पुलिस ने अब तक तीन आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है.

Surya was walking in the area with his friends when he was attacked with knives. The injured victim was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Noida, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
