यूजीसी के नए कानून और जातिगत आरक्षण के खिलाफ सवर्ण समाज के लोगों ने मोर्चा खोला। अलग-अलग शहरों में इसके खिलाफ मार्च निकाले जा रहे हैं। सवर्ण समाज के लोग जातिगत आरक्षण में सुधार समेत यूजीसी के नए नियम को रद्द करने की मांग कर रहे हैं। यूपी के बलरामपुर में यूजीसी के नए नियमों के विरोध में सवर्ण समाज के लोगों ने प्रदर्शन किया। इस दौरान सैकड़ों लोगों ने करीब 2 किलोमीटर तक जुलूस निकाला और राष्ट्रपति के नाम जिलाधिकारी को ज्ञापन सौंपा।
Members of the ‘Savarna’ community (upper castes) have launched a protest against the new UGC regulations and caste-based reservation. Marches opposing these measures are being held in various cities. They are demanding the revocation of the new UGC rules and reforms to the caste-based reservation system. In Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, members of the community staged a protest against the new UGC regulations; hundreds of people took out a procession covering a distance of approximately two kilometers and submitted a memorandum addressed to the President to the District Magistrate.
