In this edition of Tarikh, Divyanshi talks about French philosopher Voltaire and his fascination with Indian philosophy. In 1760 Voltaire received a manuscript of Ezourvedam, believed to be a French translation of lost Vedas. Later found to be a forgery. Abraham Hyacinthe Anquetil-Duperron, another French intellectual later translated the Upanishads which made Paris a center of Sanskrit studies in Europe at the start of the 19th century.
