Bihar may soon become the 10th state in the country where the common consent for CBI investigation can be withdrawn. There are reports that the leaders of the Grand Alliance have demanded this from the government. He alleges that the BJP-led central government is misusing the CBI for its political purposes. Before Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Kerala and Jharkhand have withdrawn the common consent required for CBI investigation.
