On September 5, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, PM Modi made a big announcement regarding schools. He informed that 14500 schools across the country will be upgraded under the Pradhan Mantri Schools For Rising India scheme. On this announcement of PM Modi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said- ‘a plan should be made with all the state governments and all 10.5 lacks schools should be made modern and of best quality and it should be tried that we can do this within 5 years’.
