Congress President Elections 2022: With the focus shifting to upcoming Congress President Elections, AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal has been urgently called to Delhi by Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi for organizational discussions. Venugopal was participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra along with Rahul Gandhi & is now enroutre Delhi from Alappuzha. As per reports, Shashi Tharoor has already gotten the nod from Sonia Gandhi to contest the elections and is expected to square off against Ashok Gehlot for the top party post.
