Tarikh is a daily program in which we present you with incidents and stories of noteworthy persons of Indian History in Hindi. In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about PV Narasimha Rao, who was the Prime Minister of India from 1991 to 1996, and during his tenure he made significant decisions regarding the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In 1990 Pakistan declared 4 february as kashmir solidarity day and Benajir bhutto raised demands of Kashmir independence during a speech in Muzaffarabad. Pakistan later went to the UN regarding the Kashmir issue.
