China will no longer publish daily figures of COVID-19 cases or deaths, the country’s National Health Commission (NHC) said on 25th December, Sunday. China is experiencing a surge in new cases since restrictions were eased. In China’s eastern Zhejiang province alone, the provincial government said it was experiencing about 1 million new daily cases.
