India abstained in the U.N. General Assembly on a resolution that asked the International Court of Justice for its opinion on the legal consequences of Israel’s “prolonged occupation” and annexation of the Palestinian territory.
UNSC में इजरायल से जुड़े एक प्रस्ताव पर मतदान से भारत दूर रहा. संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा (यूएनजीए) में ‘पूर्वी यरुशलम समेत फलस्तीन अधिकृत क्षेत्र में फलस्तीनी लोगों के मानवाधिकारों को प्रभावित करने वाली इजराइली गतिविधियों’ नामक मसौदा प्रस्ताव पर शुक्रवार को मतदान हुआ था जिससे भारत समेत कई देशों ने दूरी बनाई थी.
