A man set his EV scooter on fire. He was outraged at OLA for not first giving a faulty scooter and then not responding to his concerns. He had already gotten the scooter serviced by OLA 3 times. Cab-hailing service Ola launched Ola Electric Scooters in September 2021. They have priced between Rs 85,000 and Rs 1.6 lakh. It was branded as bringing the ‘e-revolution’ to India.
