छत्तीसगढ़ के कोरबा जिले में विशाल किंग कोबरा पाया गया है। माना जा रहा है कि ये दुनिया का सबसे लंबा किंग कोबरा है। कोरबा से 40 किलोमीटर दूर सोलवा पंचायत के छुईधोड़ा के पास विशाल किंग कोबरा देखा गया। गांव वाले पहले तो डरकर भाग निकले। फिर कौतुहल की वजह से विशाल सांप को देखने के लिए जमा हो गए। यहां किंग कोबरा को पहाड़ चिट्टी कहा जाता है। गांव वालों ने इसकी सूचना वन विभाग को दी। किंग कोबरा की लंबाई करीब 11 फीट थी, उसे गांव से दूर ले जाकर छोड़ दिया गया।
A giant king cobra has been found in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. It is believed that this is the longest king cobra in the world. A huge king cobra was seen near Chhuidhoda of Solva Panchayat, 40 km from Korba. The villagers first ran away in fear. Then out of curiosity they gathered to see the huge snake. Here the King Cobra is called Pahar Chitti.
The villagers informed the forest department about this. The king cobra was about 11 feet in length, it was taken away from the village and released.
