President Ashraf Ghani, who left Afghanistan on August 15 amid Taliban occupation of Kabul, appeared before the world. For the first time since the ouster of the government in Afghanistan, he made his point. That too through Facebook. In a video released on Facebook, Ashraf Ghani said that he has taken refuge in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) along with his family. He also gave the reason for leaving Afghanistan. He also clarified on the allegations of running away with money. He said that he had to leave Kabul in such a situation that he could not even wear his shoes.
