The Supreme Court has dismissed YouTuber Manish Kashyap’s plea to combine separate FIRs filed in Bihar and Tamil Nadu. These FIRs mention the creation of fake videos by Manish Kashyap, targeting Bihar migrant workers in Tamil Nadu. The bench, consisting of Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, Justice P.S. Narasimha, and Justice J.B. Pardiwala, also rejected the petition seeking the end of Kashyap’s detention under the National Security Act (NSA). However, the bench has granted permission to Kashyap to appeal in the High Court.
