Section 288 is neither a section of any law like IPC nor CRPC. The farmers say that this section 288 is actually the answer to section 144 of the police. The way the police prohibits the gathering of 5 or more people at one place after imposing prohibitory orders and imposes restrictions on the movement of people in that area. Some farmers declare the same by applying their section 288. As per farmers, after implying Section 288 neither the police can come to the farmers’ area, nor the farmers will go to the police area.
