In his first appearance after the attempted mutiny by Wagner Boss Prigozhin, Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed to punish the organisers of the rebellion. His speech was directed towards Prigozhin but didn’t take his name.
In a separate voice message, Prigozhin said that the mutiny was against the Russian Military, but not Putin.
Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Wagner will not be disbanded and will not be brought back from African countries.
These developments have pointed towards the end of Prigozhin and the leadership of Wagner might be awarded to some other person.
