Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday warned the Hezbollah militant group against joining the war. He said opening a second war front with Israel would “devastate” Lebanon. He said Israeli counter-strikes of “unimaginable” magnitude would wreak havoc in Lebanon if Hezbollah joins the war, news agency Reuters reported.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the Gaza Strip climbed to 4,741, the Palestinian Health Ministry claimed, adding that the number of those injured is inching closer to 16,000.
Even as Israel prepares to intensify its attack on the Gaza Strip, US President Joe Biden welcomed the arrival of 20 aid trucks to the enclave and said Washington was committed to ensuring more assistance would enter via the Rafah border crossing.
