On Thursday, the Election Commission of India published data on electoral bonds received from the State Bank of India (SBI) on its website. Nikhil and Abhinav from The Lallantop delve into the details of this list.
The Supreme Court, while abolishing the Electoral Bond Scheme of 2018, mandated the SBI to provide the ECI with the data by March 6. The ECI was then directed to release this information by March 13.
In accordance with the Supreme Court’s directives, the SBI submitted data regarding the purchase and redemption of electoral bonds to the Election Commission on Tuesday evening. Watch the complete video to learn more.
