Vanuatu is a tax haven and hence this scheme is attracting lot of Criminals and people who are looking to find refuge from law. These include the founders of Crypto exchange Africrypt, Raees Cajee, and Ameer Cajee, Hayyam Garipoğlu and Gianluigi Torzi. Also included is an Indian national, Trinamool Congress Youth leader Vinay Mishra. Vinay Mishra is a suspect in Cattle Smuggling Case in West Bengal.
