The speculations around NPS and OPS are going around. Now the Rajya Sabha has given a reply to the question whether central government is actually considering to scrap NPS and implement the old pension scheme.
It was back in 2003 when the NDA government under AB Vajpayee scrapped the OPS and introduced NPS (National Pension Scheme) the following year.
