In this edition of Tarikh, Saurabh Tripathi talks about the story of formation of Communist party of India CPI in Tashkent by MN Roy and Abani Mukherji in 1920. Birendranath Chattopadhyay, a prominent Indian revolutionary brought with himself a German delegation of Indian revolutionaries to Moscow and differences with him and MN Roy grew over CPI and Abani Mukherji. Abani later wrote the First Indian communist manifesto and was later shot down during the great purge on the orders of Joseph Stalin. Watch complete video to know more
