A three-storey building collapsed in Navi Mumbai on Saturday and several people were feared trapped under the rubble, officials said. The incident happened in Shahbaz village amid heavy rain in parts of Maharashtra.
Teams of the police, fire brigade, and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) reached the spot and launched operations to rescue those trapped under the debris of the collapsed building. According to the details, as many as 24 families resided in the building.
