KSHIR PAK VIDHI
This is an ancient and esoteric Ayurveda process where ‘Khsira’ ie milk is combined with different herbs and water to get a distilled liquid which when added to oil, gives a miraculous elixir. The process which has remained unchanged since 4000BC is a highly technical and time consuming. If you want to try it out, below is the list of herbs.
HERBS: Bhringraj, Amla, Brahmi, Methi Seed, Shikakai, Manjistha, Neem, Nagarmotha, Yashtimadhu, Dhaturo, Gurhal, Jatamanshi, Baheda, Gunka, Heena & Sugandhit Dravya
THE RECIPE
1. Take the ingredients herbs, milk and water in a ratio of 1:8:32 (1 part herbs, 8 part milk and 32 parts water).
2. Add all the ingredients in a pan and mix them thoroughly.
3. Boil the mixture till all the water evaporates.
4. Sieve the distilled mixture with a muslin cloth and retain the liquid.
5. Add this liquid to sesame oil until the mixture has the consistency of oil.
