The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has written to the Union Home Ministry stating that Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) foreign funds to the tune of Rs 7.08 crore from 2014 to 2022 violated the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). It added that the same passport number, credit cards, email id and mobile numbers used by different donors to transfer funds to AAP. AAP received funds from multiple donors in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman and other countries.
