India on Monday suspended all flights to and from the United Kingdom till December 31 in the wake of the new mutant strain of novel coronavirus. Before that, a flight from UK reached Amritsar carrying 281 people. They all will undergo Covid-19 test and then only they will be allowed to go out from airport. At present, Vistara, Air India, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways operate flights between the two countries.
