China’s Hubei province where the coronavirus originated has announced to lift travel restrictions from April 8, 2020. However, overseas coronavirus infections in China is on rise. According to the data released by National Health Commission, China had 78 new cases on March 23. Of these new cases, 74 are imported infections.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced lockdown in United Kingdoms (UK) on March 23. In his televised statement on Monday evening, PM Boris Johnson asked British People to stay at home. He listed four reasons for which citizens can go outside- Shopping for essential necessities, exercise, medical services and going to work for very vital reasons. Boris Johnson also warned that police will have the power to enforce the lockdown by issuing fines.

Cuba, a Communist country in North America famous for its healthcare system, has dispatched a team of 52 doctors and nurses to Italy’s Lombardy region to help in the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic. Lombardy is the worst-affected region in Coronavirus-hit Italy. Cuba has a history of sending medical teams to disaster sites around the world since its 1959 revolution. According to the World Bank data, Cuba has one of the highest ratios worldwide of physicians per capita. More than 50,000 of Cuban Doctors are working in 67 countries around the world. Public Health has been a top-priority for Cuba since 1959 and Free healthcare is a fundamental right here.
