Delhi government taken strict action against schools arbitrarily increasing fees and treating education as a business. Show-cause notices have been issued to 11 schools, including DPS Dwarka. Following complaints, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta directed the formation of special audit teams under SDM supervision, which audited over 600 schools.
The Delhi government has clarified that no fee hikes without prior permission will be accepted. Serious irregularities were found in 10 schools during the audits — a major relief for concerned parents.
