Nimisha Priya, an #IndianNurse in Yemen, has been saved from hanging for now. The #Yemen authorities have postponed her death sentence, which was scheduled for July 16. This news comes after a well-known Sunni Muslim leader, Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliyar, stepped in to help. He spoke to the family of the victim, Talal Abdo Mahdi, and requested them to forgive #NimishaPriya in exchange for ‘blood money’.
Based on the recent reports, the execution of a nurse hailing from Kerala, Nimisha Priya, in Yemen has been postponed. Sources revealed that this has come amid intense ongoing dialogs of the Indian authorities & kin of Nimisha with the Yemen authorities and kin of deceased victim Talal Abdo Mahdi.
