दिल्ली में करीब दो साल पहले आयोजित आरजेडी सुप्रीमो लालू यादव और कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी की मटन पार्टी खूब चर्चा में आई थी. अगस्त 2023 में मीसा भारती के आवास पर हुई इस दावत में लालू यादव ने राहुल को अपने हाथों से बनाकर चंपारण मटन खिलाया था. इस आयोजन का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर वायरल हुआ था. इस दावत के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सावन और नवरात्र के पावन महीने में नॉनवेज खाने को लेकर राहुल और तेजस्वी यादव पर निशाना साधा था.
