An elderly man was found tied and unconscious inside a locked car in the scorching heat near the Taj Mahal’s west gate parking in Agra. The shocking incident occurred on July 17 when a family visiting from Maharashtra allegedly left the 85-year-old inside the vehicle while they went to tour the monument. Onlookers, local guides, and guards broke the car window to rescue the man and rushed him to safety. Despite being initially taken toward a hospital, one family member accompanying the ambulance later refused further medical attention, claiming the man was fine. The case has sparked outrage over the inhumane treatment of the elderly.
