ऑपरेशन महादेव पर जम्मू-कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला कहते हैं, “…पहलगाम हमले के दिन से ही, चाहे पुलिस हो, अर्धसैनिक बल हो या सेना, वे उनके (आतंकवादियों) पीछे लगे हुए हैं। अगर आज उनमें से एक भी मुठभेड़ में मारा जाता है, तो यह अच्छी बात होगी।”
संसद में ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पर चर्चा पर वे कहते हैं, “ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पर चर्चा ठीक है, लेकिन उससे पहले पहलगाम पर चर्चा ज़रूरी है। हाल ही में एलजी साहब ने कहा था कि इसमें निश्चित रूप से लापरवाही हुई है। इसमें खुफिया और सुरक्षा विफलता की भूमिका रही है, इसलिए संसद में इस पर भी चर्चा होनी चाहिए कि आख़िर अगर कोई खुफिया विफलता, सुरक्षा विफलता थी, तो उसके लिए किसे ज़िम्मेदार ठहराया गया। उसके बाद ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पर चर्चा होगी।”
On Operation Mahadev, Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah says, “…From the day of the Pahalgam attack, whether it is the police, paramilitary, or the army, they are after them (terrorists). If even one of them is killed in an encounter today, it will be a good thing.
On the discussion on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, he says, “Discussion on Operation Sindoor is fine, but before that, it is necessary to discuss Pahalgam. Recently, LG sahab said that there was definitely negligence in this. Intelligence and security failure played a role in this, so that should also be discussed in the Parliament, that after all, if there was an intelligence failure, a security failure, then who was held responsible for it. There will be a discussion on Operation Sindoor after that.”
