उत्तरकाशी के जिलाधिकारी प्रशांत आर्य ने बताया कि अब तक चार लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है और 10 से 12 लोग मलबे में दबे हो सकते हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि नेटवर्क ठप होने की वजह से स्पष्ट जानकारी मिलने में परेशानी हो रही है. हर्षिल से आर्मी की टीम, ITBP की दो टीमें, तथा SDRF और NDRF के जवान मौके पर राहत-बचाव कार्यों में जुटे हैं.
Uttarkashi District Magistrate Prashant Arya said that so far four people have been confirmed dead and 10 to 12 people may be trapped under the debris. He said that due to network failure, there is difficulty in getting clear information. Army team from Harshil, two ITBP teams, and SDRF and NDRF personnel are engaged in relief and rescue operations at the spot.
