The Supreme Court has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe Reliance Foundation’s Vantara wildlife project in Jamnagar, led by Anant Ambani.
The SIT will look into animal acquisitions, compliance with the Wildlife Protection Act, international conventions, animal welfare, and financial issues.
Headed by former SC judge Justice Chelameswar, the SIT will submit its report by September 12, 2025.
