Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced after the 56th GST Council meeting that mid-size and large cars, motorcycles above 350cc, personal-use aircrafts including helicopters and aeroplanes, as well as yachts and vessels for pleasure or sports, will now be taxed at a 40% slab.
