On June 30, Zaira announced her “disassociation” from the field of acting, saying she was not happy with the line of work as it interfered with her faith and religion.
Zaira Wasim make her debut in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s Dangal. In the film, which was released in 2016, Zaira played the younger version of wrestler Geeta Phogat. She garnered a lot of praises and awards for her role in the film, including National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.
