वक्फ कानून पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला आ गया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूरे वक्फ कानून पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया. हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कुछ धाराओं पर रोक लगाई है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने निर्देश दिया कि जहां तक संभव हो वक्फ बोर्ड का मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी मुस्लिम होना चाहिए. साथ ही गैर-मुस्लिम को सीईओ के रूप में नियुक्त करने की अनुमति देने वाले संशोधन पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया है. कोर्ट ने वक्फ संशोधन अधिनियम 2025 के उस प्रावधान पर रोक लगा दी है. जिसके मुताबिक वक्फ के लिए किसी व्यक्ति को 5 साल तक प्रैक्टिसिंग मुस्लिम होना जरूरी था.
The Supreme Court’s decision on the Waqf Act has come. The Supreme Court refused to ban the entire Waqf Act. However, the Supreme Court has banned some sections. The Supreme Court directed that as far as possible, the Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf Board should be a Muslim. It has also refused to ban the amendment allowing the appointment of a non-Muslim as CEO. The court has banned that provision of the Waqf Amendment Act 2025. According to which a person was required to be a practicing Muslim for 5 years for Waqf.
