On October 4th, at 9 AM, SSC aspirants gathered to protest against recruitment delays and alleged irregularities in the SSC CGL and Selection Grade exam. Anticipating the protest, Delhi Police and paramilitary forces were deployed in large numbers to maintain order and prevent unrest.
