भारत ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र में पाकिस्तान को कड़ी फटकार लगाते हुए कहा कि पाकिस्तान अवैध रूप से कब्जे वाले क्षेत्रों में मानवाधिकार उल्लंघनों को रोकना चाहिए। भारत ने कहा कि आतंकवाद के मामले में पाकिस्तान ने हमेशा दोहरा रवैया अपनाया है। साथ ही भारत ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में कहा, जम्मू-कश्मीर उसका “अभिन्न और अविभाज्य अंग” है।
India strongly rebuked Pakistan at the United Nations, stating that Pakistan must cease human rights violations in the illegally occupied territories. India asserted that Pakistan has consistently adopted a double standard on the issue of terrorism. India also reiterated in the UN Security Council that Jammu and Kashmir is an “integral and inalienable part” of India.
