कानपुर कमिश्नरेट पुलिस के द्वारा आज परेड स्थित संवेदनशील इलाके में मॉकड्रिल का आयोजन किया गया । छात्र एक तरफ से पुलिस के खिलाफ नारे लगा रहे थे । दूसरी तरफ सामने पुलिस पूरी मुस्तैदी के साथ उपद्रवी छात्रों के सामने डटी थी । कुछ देर में छात्रों ने पथराव किया तो उपद्रवी प्रदर्शनकारी छात्रों को खदेड़ दिया । इसके बाद रबर बुलेट और आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े गए । पुलिस ने मॉक दिल की कार्रवाई करते हुए कई उपाधि भी छात्रों को पकड़ लिया।
The Kanpur Commissionerate Police conducted a mock drill today in the sensitive Parade area. Students were chanting slogans against the police on one side, while the police, fully prepared, stood firm against the unruly students on the other. After a short while, the students started pelting stones, and the police dispersed the rioting students. Rubber bullets and tear gas shells were then fired. During the mock drill, the police also apprehended several students.
