In Tamil Nadu, boats are staying docked at Cuddalore as Cyclone ‘Montha’ grows stronger. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says the cyclone is likely to hit the Andhra Pradesh coast near Kakinada, between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam, on the evening or night of October 28. It’s expected to be a severe cyclonic storm with wind speeds of 90-100 kmph, gusting up to 110 kmph.
