Four people lost their lives after being struck by a train while crossing railway tracks in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened when the victims had just alighted from the Chopan–Prayagraj Express and attempted to cross to the opposite side of the platform at Chunar Junction. Tragically, they were hit by the oncoming Howrah–Kalka Netaji Express.
