During the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, a major incident was reported from Lakhisarai, where Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha’s convoy was attacked with mud and cow dung. The incident took place at booth numbers 405 and 406 in Khoriari village under the Lakhisarai constituency.
According to reports, when Vijay Sinha arrived in the area, a group of people surrounded his car and hurled mud while shouting slogans. Sinha blamed RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) workers for the attack and accused the local administration of inaction, saying the SP was “cowardly.”
He also declared, “As long as Vijay Sinha is here, there will be no Jungle Raj in Bihar.”
Police reached the spot soon after the incident and brought the situation under control.
