The poll indicates a narrow advantage for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by incumbent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, over the Mahagathbandhan (MGB), led by Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. The exit poll projects 121 to 141 seats for the NDA, while the Mahagathbandhan is expected to secure between 98 and 118 seats in the 243-member assembly. With a vote share of 43% for the NDA and 41% for the MGB, the election appears to be a closely fought contest. The poll also highlights that while the NDA retains strong support among women, the Mahagathbandhan has a slight edge among male voters.
