The US-Russia Ukraine peace plan proposes bold concessions to end the war. Ukraine must cede Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk to Russia, freeze battle lines in Kherson and Zaporizhia, and reduce its army size. In return, Kyiv gets limited security guarantees and economic reconstruction aid, but is barred from joining NATO.
The plan includes joint monitoring, phased lifting of sanctions, and renewed non-aggression and nuclear agreements. New elections in Ukraine are mandated within 100 days, while Russia gains territorial recognition and reintegration to global forums. Critics say the plan strongly favors Moscow, sparking debate over Ukrainian sovereignty and the future of European security.
