In response, the Inter‑Services Public Relations-backed Pakistani Foreign Office issued a strong rebuttal through spokesperson Tahir Andrabi, calling the remarks “highly inflammatory, baseless and irresponsible.” They emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain a core pillar of the country’s national security.
